This short childhood story was told by JOAN WAND-TETLEY to Ellen Engelbach Pankenier at the 1999 EWWR in Biedenkopf, Germany. Joan was born in Egypt and is the daughter of Rex Engelbach:
She was only a small child and was
playing around the area in where they were working on the excavations in
Egypt when she was running and fell down one of the digs. It was cool so she
fell asleep. When her Mother realized that she was missing she ran around
calling her name. They found her at the bottom of an excavation calm and
relaxed. Quite an experience for such a young child!
