INGREDIENTS:
In order of their use:
1/2 ounce sugar
9 ounce flour
8 ounce dry milk
3 ounce egg powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon cocoa
DIRECTIONS:
Mix 1 ounce of mix with 2 ounces water for each serving.
Bring to a boil.
Pour in cups and cool.

This recipe was a favorite of my father, Hermann Friedrich Engelbach, MD on
canoe trips into the Ontario and Minnesota wilderness areas. He began
canoeing in 1927 at the age of 24 and took his last canoe trip in 1976.
Hermann Friedrich Engelbach was born on 15 May 1903 in Arenzville, Illinois. He died on 27 July 1982 in Jacksonville, Illinois.
