HOMEMADE ROOT BEER

INGREDIENTS:
5 pounds sugar
5 pounds dry ice
5 gallons water
1 bottle(2 ounce) Root Beer extract

DIRECTIONS:
In a large cooler, not aluminium, mix the extract, sugar and water.
Add the dry ice.
Good with homemade ice cream.

NOTE:
This recipe makes a large amount of RootBeer. You can easily cut the recipe in half.

MEMORIES/STORIES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS RECIPE:
I was first introduced to this recipe at an Indian Princess meeting with my dad when I was 7 years old and it still is fun to make. This is a great recipe to make at Halloween and birthday parties. When the dry ice is added a HUGE cloud of vapor appears! Great effect!
